My dad is doing great today. The liver is functioning as it should and all is well. They took his breathing tube out this morning and he has just been sleeping on and off.
When I saw him this morning the 1st thing he asked was, "Where is the baby?". SO, I know he is gonna do well if he is laying there and all he can think about was Where Nick was...
He talked today with a horsey voice and is well aware of who is around. He had a few of his close friends visit today and really enjoyed that.
He asked me how long he had to be here and I said, 8-10 days and he said, "Oh No, Not That Long". So, with God's will he will be up and about alot sooner with that attitude. They may give him some Jello tonight or tomorrow...I know he is really thirsty but they willnot let him drink anything just yet...
Tomorrrow they will have him sit up and then if all is still well they will move him to Telemetry...where it will be a little more private and not so much going on.
We also met the wife of the husband who received they Lungs from the same donor.
Wow, what miracles can happen....
