Fire Station # 46 Tour

Nicholas and I joined another play-group and today was our 1st day meeting some of the other mommies and kiddos. We all met at Fire Station # 46 for a tour of the fire station. I was kinda weary at 1st having a bunch of toddlers at a fire station but I have to say that all of the kids really enjoyed themselves.

Nicholas got to listen as the fireman talked about fire safety a little, he got to watch as a fireman put on his uniform, he got to climb in and play the fire truck, he got to pretend to drive the fire truck, he got to play in the ambulance and the best part was that he got to hold the hose and squirt the water.

We really enjoyed ourselves and Nicholas received a fire safety ribbon as well.

Afterwards, we met my friend Jackie and her son Stephen at Willie's for lunch... it was great to see them both.
