Altered Note Pad

Well, today I attempted to make an altered note pad... it came out ok... I just need to go back and fine tune it as well as find paper and embellishments that will make it stand out. I just wanted to see how easy it was to make and just used paper and embellishments that I had in my stash... anyway, here is my 1st attempt. Stay tuned for more...

Also, I need to buy some white note pads... the yellow was all that I had here at home.

Christmas Cards

I made these Christmas Cards this year... only 12 people received homemade cards. I also used Walgreen's and created another card for everyone who didn't get a handmade card... but then again.. some of you may have gotten them both.

Decorating Pawpaw & Grandma's Tree

We went to my parents house today to help decorate the tree... Nick loves putting the ornaments on and had a great time doing it.

Christmas Lay-out

I worked on these Lay-out's tonight... I think they both turned out great!!! I love taking pictures of Nicholas... the 1st LO was 2007 and the 2nd is 2008... my baby is growing up so fast!!

Christmas Ornament

Ok, this was my 1st ornament that I have made for this year and I think it turned out pretty cool. I think that the more I do the better I will get.

I used "Sticky-back Canvas" by Claudine Hellmuth and printed a picture of Nicholas on it... it comes in 8 1/2 x 11 and 5 sheets per pack...

I used "Beyond The Page" Bauble Album by Kaiser Craft for the shape of the ornament... it is a wood piece and comes with 4 in a pack... it is supposed to be but I am using it for single ornaments...

I can't wait to get started on more ornaments...

Couldn't Wait!!

Well, I came home from my scrap-booking class today to find my husband and Nicholas putting together a new CAT train set. My hubby decided to go out and by it today because his excuse is, "Everyday Is Christmas". What am I going to do with him? Anyway, Nicholas loves his new train set... take a look.

He thought it was cute to wreck it... he got that from watching train wrecks with Pawpaw...

Christmas Lights

We took Nicholas to look at all the Christmas Lights today and he really enjoyed every minute of it... here is a video of some of the houses we saw today... the pictures in the video do no justice as it is much prettier in person. There were a lot of people who did a great job in decorating and celebrating the holiday spirt.

Gingerbread Christmas Train

I found this Gingerbread Train at garden Ridge Pottery after Thanksgiving and thought that Nicholas would love to put it together... he has been patiently waiting to do this project... and tonight he did it... I helped him a tad bit with building it but for the most part he did the train all by himself... he had so much fun and was so excited to show Papa his beautiful work of art... he also said, "Mama, thank you for helping me." We had a great time... now to let it set... he said, "Mama, tomorrow can we eat it?".

Pawpaw's Surprise

Today my dad surprised Nicholas and brought over a small blow-up to decorate the front yard. It's Mickey Mouse riding in a train... way too cute! They put it up together in the front yard. Nicholas loves it!

New Puzzle

We went to Target this evening to window shop and ended up buying a puzzle for us to do... It's 20 puzzles in one back. Each puzzle contains 24 pieces and is back a front... We all had fun putting them together tonight... as Carlos and Nicholas put them together I took them apart and put them in a baggie and labeled them. They are really need puzzles... Nick is able to learn from them. There is space, music instruments, construction site, jungle animals, dinosaurs and ect...

3-D Fun!!

Nicholas got the movie Shrek 3-D from Jenny and we watched a little of it tonight. Here's pics with our glasses... to cute!!

New PJ's

My mom and I went to Costco today and they had these cool Carter's PJ's for Nicholas... I need to go back and buy a few more. He says he likes them and keep him warm.
