The Perfect Pumpkin

Today I took Nicholas to Braken United Methodist Church where they had a great pumpkin patch. Nicholas had alot of fun pulling the wagon around and looking for the "Perfect Pumpkin". He told me he was going to look for the "Perfect Pumpkin just like "Max and Ruby"...one of his favorite cartoons. Anyway, the weather was perfect...we had a nice cool breeze. Well, Nicholas found his "Perfect Pumpkin's"..check out the wagon picture...I am quit please with my pictures and have the perfect idea to display them...that is coming soon.

Christmas LO

I did the layout tonight. I am going to take pictures of Nicholas sleeping on Christmas Eve and add them. What do you think? I love the Santa Belt..

Chacho's

Well, Nicholas and I ate dinner at home and Carlos had to run an errand so he came home from work and we left to run the errand...so he decided he would get a cpuple of chalupa's at Chacho's and let Nicholas play...Nicholas had a wonderful time...he climbed all the way up to the top of a 4 story playscrape which was a 1st for him and just keep going and going. He had a blast...he came home, took and shower and is now laying in bed...I would say he is pooped!!

Nick's sister Jenny sent him a card with $ 10 for his birthday and then another card for Halloween with $ 2 for candy. Nick was very excited and thankful. We took Nicholas to the store and let him pick out something. He was so excited...here's what he bought.

My Little Cuz

Ok so I just wanted to share a little story with you. My cousin Garrett (my god-son) and his friend did something that I thought ws so cool and just want to share...

This is quoted from my uncle...

"I WANT TO TELL YOU WHAT HE AND THE QUARTERBACK DID SATURDAY NIGHT. THEY TOOK THE GIRLS TO EAT AT A NICE RESTAURANT IN SABINAL AND THEN THEY BLINDFOLDED THEM AND TOOK THEM TO THE RANCH WITH THE LAKE ON IT WHERE GARRETT WORKED THIS SUMMER AND WHEN THEY GOT THERE THE GIRLS TOOK THE BLINDFOLDS OFF AND THERE ON THE THE DOCK WITH THE MOON SHINING ON THE WATER THERE WERE A DOZEN ROSES FOR EACH OF THEM AND A SIGN THAT SAID "WOULD YOU BE MY HOMECOMING SWEETHEART" NOT BAD FOR A COUPLE OF TOUGH FOOTBALL PLAYERS, HEY. THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THAT WITH YOU."

Fall Season

Well, Fall season is beginning and its my favorite time of the year. Nicholas' 3rd Birthday Party is coming up in 2 weeks and I have sent out all of the invitations...and next week will start preparing for his party...its going to have a "Thomas The Train" theme. Nicholas loves Thomas.

I have been working on my (20) page 8 x 8 abulms and am on my 3rd...they are all so awesome...I will post pictures sometime soon.

Today we went out an bought a few pumpkins to decorate our front patio...Nicholas doesn't want scary monsters at his house and only wants to have Pumpkins and Scarcrows cuz they are cute! Here is what we have so far...

We had the medium pumpkin from last year so Nick said that we needed one for Papa and one for him...so I bought the big one for Carlos and the little one Nicholas picked out...cute or what?



Nicks pumpkin already burned out...I suppose the batteries are dead as I took them out of another toy...OOOOps! Anyway, this is what it looks like at night.

Photo Full Class

On Monday I attended a "Photo Full" class taught by Tami at Scrapbook 911. She has class the 1st Monday of every month and I have throughly enjoyed her classes. She comes up with the greatest ideas to fit at least 20 pictures within a Scrapbook 2-page Lay-out. I have learned so much...as you all know I love to take pictures and I always had so many and just wanted to scrap them all...this class has allowed me to do so. Here is the one that we did on Monday. Rememeber, we bring our pictures and we get to pick our own paper and embellishments...she just gives us the directions and a sample project and is there to help us as needed.



I have not completed this one yet as I still need journaling and also need to place pictures on the 2nd insert...isn't this a clever idea.

Special Scrap

I put together a Special Scrap last night at my friend Sara's house...we made these cute "My Word" abulms by Bo Bunny...I think mine turned out gorgeous. I am going to have to change the colors of my pics to Sepia...it's going to look awesome. I am in the process of making several items so that I can give them away as Chrismas presents...

Padre Island Sunday Morning

We went to have breakfast at teh hotel resturant....it was crazy when I received the bill it was $ 11.99 per person for buffet...did not expect that...at least kids eat free. Michael, Adelia and kids joined us. Nicholas loved playing with Viviana's doll...it treated it like a real baby.



We also went to the T-heads in Corpus before driving home for a while,...it was fun! Carlos had fun fishing with his gold spoon...Nick and I walked around and looked at the scenery. Carlos did find his dream boat...its the one behind the picture of he and Nicholas.

Padre Island Fishing

We got to go fishing for a while and had a great time...they fish were hitting while we were out...Nichols had a grea time...by the way these are pics from Friday afternoon...

Padre Island Evening

We went to have dinner this evening and then went to the mall in Corpus Christi. We walked off everything we had for dinner and let Nick play a few games at the arcade and then ride on the carosel(MS?)...

We had a nice evening and when we got back to the hotel we were going to go swimming but the wind was blowing and made it cold when you got wet so we are watching TV in our room. Nick is already in his PJs and watching his little DVD player in bed...he is watching, "Percy's Chocolate Crunch"...by Thomas the train.

Padre Island Today

Nicholas and I went down to the beach today...the weather was perfect...Nicholas had so much fun playing in the sand.

Papa joined us but went fishing in the ocean...he caught a few little fish.

Padre Island

We are visiting Padre Island this weekend. We went fishing yesterday with Papa and have some pictures to share but they are in the camera we take on the boat and Carlos has it this morning.

We are staying in the in a hotel on the beach and having a great time. Nicholas and I are going to get ready to go get a bite to eat. We're going to go fishing and for a boat ride later this afternoon.

Nicholas and I went to the beach to play in the sand yesterday evening and he had a great time and met a friend...she happened to be from Bourne, Texas.






Michael, Adelia and the kids are with us this weekend...the kids had a great time playing in the pool ladt night...we ate Fried Chicken at the pool...

Play Day!

Today my cousin Janie came over to play with her daughter Alyssa. We went to get Greek food take-out and then Happy Meals for the kids. We ate here at my house and while the kids played Janie and I had a chance to talk...it was so nice to see them again. I think this is the 4th week in a row. Wow, we are doing good.
