Organization In Progress

I have been organizing toys all morning... I have decided to remove the baskets of toys we have floating around the house and condense them down to only Nick's room and the play-room... I bought some things for organization and have been working on it...I went through all the toys and bagged up all the Happy Meal Toys and other parts and pieces... I figure you have to do this every once in a while or you will be consumed with clutter... and those of you who really know me know that I can't stad clutter.

I am liking everything so far... I have been debating for a long time on what kind of wall hanging to get for the play-room and really could never find anything... so I decided to get the picture of Nicholas with his trains and blow it up into a poster and have it framed...another picture will be a large collage picture of all my favorites of Nick from 2008... like the one I made for my dad but larger...

Still debating on wall color...I want to paint but hate to paint so we shall see...

Oh and dad... you will be happy to know that I put this organizer together myself... it was actually really easy!! =)

ENJOY...

My Friends, Nicholas and Family

I can truly say that I have the most wonderful friends in the entire world... all of you know who you are. I have been blessed just to have you all in my life. I love you all and would not trade in in for the world.

OK, enough MUSHY STUFF!!

Today was a slow day. Nicholas and I stayed at home for most of the day. We played the Wii...he loves Mario Kart, Chicken Shoot and Balloon Pop. He also played on the computer on Noggin.com and www.thomasandfriends.com. He is a smart little boy and just amazes me with his computer skills. He learns alot on the computer.

We also read books and practiced shapes and ABC's.

We went to the grocery store this afternoon and on the way there I heard Nicholas singing... Row, Row, Row Your Boat... when I turned around in amazement he turned a little shy... I swear, he amazes me everyday.

Nicholas is my life and I would not trade him for the world.

Wow, more MUSH!! What has gotten into me...

I should say that I have a truly amazing family... and could not ask for better...

Ok, well, I am off to watch a movie with my wonderful hubby!!! =)

My dad and I took Nicholas to Matthew's 3rd Birthday Party today. Matthew is the grand-son of my dad's good friend Bob and his wife Marilyn. The boys had a wonderful time playing together and I would have to say Matthew's had a day to remember. We had Pizza, cake and icecream... it was delish!!

Here We Come!!!

These pictures were taken last week when we all took a trip to Joann's Fabrics... I think they are so stinkin' cute...thanks to Chrissy we have pics to scrap...

Hoppin' Good Time

Today we met my cousin Janie and her daughter Alyssa at the mall to have lunch in the food court and then we strolled on down to Inflatable Wonderland which is in the mall. The kids had a lot of fun and I think their favorite thing was playing Air Hockey... they were bother pretty good at it.

Janie and I decided that we needed do get back on track and meet once a week to play...so hopefully this time we will stick to it.

While we were waiting for Janie and Alyssa to get there Nick enjoyed riding a few rides and donating money to a good cause.

They loved playing Air Hockey

My Scrap-room In The Making

Well, I have been working on my scrap-room (organizing) since we moved in this house in Aug. 2008. This past weekend my girlfriends and I took a trip to IKEA and found some goodies or organization... my favorite is the 36 inch Bangel bar with curtain hooks to hold my embellishments... a scrapbook company sales a round turnable two tear gadget called, "Clip It Up" and it is almost $ 100. I only spent $ 7 for the same kind of concept.

My dad came over this evening to help me hang my Bangel rods.... THANKS DAD!!!

Anyway, I have not painted the room because I am lazy and truthfully hate painting.... I will see if I can get away with not painting and just hang colorful pics and scrapbook pages on the wall... we shall see.

I still have alot more organizing to do... I need to find shelving for my closet...

Well, this is what I have done so far and I am lovin' it...

My Scrap Area

Side Wall Storage... eventually I will have all of the different type organization cubes like the one on the table on the right hand side... those things are expensive... but every once in a while Michael's comes out with a 50% off coupon. I need about 12 more to do the job. YIKES!!!

My awesome find at Costco's before Christmas... I need to hang the cork board up soon. The top has displays of my most recent crafts.

Another of the table so you can see my PINK curtains...

My PINK fluffy rug...

Well, off to organize some more. I will post more pics when I am completely done.

Fun, Fun, Fun

I took Nicholas to meet up with some friends at Chacho's today. Nicholas had a blast with his friends as you can see from the pictures below. I enjoyed talking to the girls...I love my friends!!! I also got to meet Chrissy's mother who is here visiting. We all went to Joann's Fabric's after that... its a new one here in San Antonio... we think we like it better than HL... =) Anyway, can you imagine going to the store with 4 three year olds.... all I can say it was an adventure!!

Here are some pics of the boys playing.
