We went to Medina Lake today and had a great time. My nephew Michael and his family came along it their boat.

Scrappin' Yesterday

I got to Scrap at home yesterday and here is what I did.

I can't take credit for this one as I was in Scrapbook 911 the other day and there it was...I loved it. So, I bought the papers and embellishments and copied it the best I could.

All the credit for the idea should go to Tami...one of the Scrapbook intructors at Scrapbook 911. Her's of course looks alot better than mine. Thank you so much for the idea Tami..you did a great job.



Here is alother one I worked on...I think its cute. Although, it took alot of time to piece together. I bought the embelishments form Scrapbook 911...it was a small package with the leaves, animals and "A Day At The Zoo"...



Last but not least, I made these fun cards from left over Scrap embellishments I had. I think they turned out pretty darn cute. I will add them to my stash as you never know when you will need a card.

What Fun!!

We got Mario Kart for the Wii today and Nicholas loves it. I think it's alot of fun too! Anyway, here are some pics of Papa helping Nicholas play. You can see how much he enjoyed it by the expression on his face. He learned to steer on his own and it didn't take him any time at all. By the way, Nicholas can already manuever the mouse on the computer and moves well areound his favorite site...www.thomasandfriends.com. He clicks on his videos, pictures, activities and games...he has learn alot. My baby boy is growing up soooo fast!!! Here are a few videos....

Look What I Altered

My friends from my mommies group came over tonight to alter boxes for Grandparents Day. I turned mine into a prayer box for my parents from Nicholas. It turned out really cute. I am so happy with it. Now, all I need to do it get a cross for the inside lid and put a few prayers in it.

My Baby Boy!

I just thought Nicholas looked so cute this morning that I had to take pictures. He loves to say, "Cheese". I love these pictures and plan to scrap a page at our next scrap.

Scrap-Room

I worked on my Scrap Room a little while today just organizing some things from our move. I am far from done with my room. I still want to paint one wall, buy a book shelf from IKEA, and a few other little organization things. I also want to get some fun curtains.

I also worked on a fun little wall hanging for my room...I found the idea on Canvas Concepts. I am going to make more wall hanging including some for Nicholas room with Sports Theme.

Flower Power

I went to my "Flower Power" class today at Scrapbook 911 and the instructor Jennie is awesome! Here is what we worked on today.

Friday Night Crop

My friends and I went to the Fridy Night Crop at our local Scrapbook Stores and we all had a blast. I only did 3 lay-outs but feel like I accomplished alot. I could have done more but we took the time out to have a quick dinner and then with all the conversation, helping out my friends, and looking around the store took up alot of time. I wish I just take a day and Scrap all day long...what a dream that would be.

Todays Adventure

Today my mom, Nicholas and I went to Garden Ridge Pottery, Taco Bell, and to Wal-mart. I bought a bunch of goodies at Garden Ridge but I have to say that they have went down hill in the last few years. They took out the drinks, candy and consessions and to top it off they got rid of the Scrapbook and Craft area. Horrible mistake. Anyway, we had a good time. I didn't get to take pics today but will tomororw and I will post more.

Trains and Potty Training

Nicholas is obessed with Thomas The Train and even trains in general. This afternoon he and I played with his trains...he got a new "Draw Bridge" for getting 5 Happy faces in a row for Potty Training. He has done so well. I thought it would be hard but he made it so easy. What a big accomplishment. Now I am sad cuz I have no more diaper butt...my baby is a little boy!!

It rained today so Nicholas was able to see a Rainbow. He thought it was so cool.

Well, I manage to use my stash and create 3 more pages today. Of course, they look different with no pics but I am sure I can find some pics to match...I will continue to use my stash until it becomes minimal. HA HA HA

New House

Well, we have been in our, "New House" for 2 weeks now...and I have to say that I absolutely love it. It is 2876 sq. ft. Nicholas has his own room and playroom. The Master bedroom has a livingroom in it. I also have a home office. There is an extra bedroom and I want to make it a guest room but then again I would love to turn it into my scraproom. What to do? We are sooo blessed. I thank GOD everyday for all that he does for us.

Scrap-o-holic

I am a Scrap-o-holic and I admit it. I hoard Scrapbook materials and I just can't get enough. I buy anything that is cute. I love Scrapbooking. I decided that I was going to start scrapping with what I have been hoarding and not worry about the pictures just yet. This is the 1st page I came up with tonight. It's not to bad if I say so myself. Look for more to come.

Dallas Zoo
