Fire Ants

My Poor Baby Boy got bit my Fire Ants...look at his feet..we did see the doctor and he is on Benadryl and an ointment for the inching. He should be OK witin 2-3 days...just have to watch for infection.

He says it hurts when he walks and wants me to rub his feet and kiss them...

Peaches and Strawberries

We went out to Malburger Farms today with my parents. It's located outside of Fredricksburg, TX. Nicholas had a blast picking Strawberries and Peaches. It was definately a moment to remember.

Our Small New Used Boat

Well, we finally broke down and bought a used boat...it's only 14 ft. but it is sooo comfortable for all three of us to relax and fish. It's perfect for Port O'Connor where we like to fish. We see all these other $ 20,000.00+ boats and laugh because we could have bought a new more expensive boat but it all comes dowm to is that we can catch the same fish they do only we didn't spend a fortune.

What A Day!

Carlos woke up early this morning a went fishing. Nicholas and I slept in and watched cartoons this morning. We walked down to the dock to pick-up the Jeep and went to have some lunch.

Nicholas and I got a car from Carlos saying he was heading back and would pick us up from the dock if we'd like to go for a boat ride and fish a little. Here are some pictures.

We went to eat a a restraunt called, "The Spot". Carlos ordered a burger and Nicholas got a corndog...it took nearly 45 mins. and they were not busy at all. After looking at the menu and the lady telling me they were out of salad and the grilled veggies...oh, and Baked Potatoes...I knew it was not for me so I did not order.

We went riding around and Nicholas fell asleep...Carlos stayed with him at the hotel and napped himself...I went to Clark's Marina and had a wonderful dinner...Grilled Chicken with Caper Sauce and Rice...with an awesome salad.

Now back at the hotel and Nicholas and Carlos are sleeping...wow, they better get up or they will not sleep tonight.

Until Later.

Fun In The Sun

We are still in Port O'Connor. Nicholas had fun swimming in the hotel pool today...I was trying to teach him to kick his feet and lay on his tummy and at first he was a little scared but got used to the idea. After swimming we decided to go to the beach to play in the sand and to find sea shells...Nicholas really enjoyed playing in the sand and for the first time loved walking in the water...he actually let the water hit his feet. After the beach we went to get an icecream cone and then to wash the car and Nicholas fell asleep so we went back to the hotel and he slept while I hit the shower...boy did I ever deserve that.

Carlos came back from fishing so he and Nicholas took a shower and then we went to have dinner. We are now back at the hotel relaxing.

Relaxing

We are here in Port O'Connor, Texas. I am sitting on the patio of our hotel looking out at the pool and a pond near by. Nicholas is bouncing his basketball and playing. Carlos took the boat out to catch some Piggie Perch for his day of fishing tomorrow. It is so windly today but feels great.

We all went for lunch at Mama's Grill and shared Chicken Tenders and fries...they were so good. Nicholas and I came back and took a nap and then got up and went to the pool. I managed to lay-out for a little while as Carlos joined us and he was able to keep track of Nick.

I think tomorrow Nicholas and I will go to the beach so I can lay-out and he can play in the sand right next to me...seems easier that way then being around a pool.

We're waiting for Carlos to return so that we can go eat at Clark's Marina tonight.

Until Later...
